My mother wasn't exaggerating when she threatened saying that I would end up getting a one-way ticket to my father's house.

My father has always been a fundamental piece to the puzzle of the past that was gradually set up within my mind, so it is more than important to emphasize the reason that led to his first separation: he never had time for the family, and never showed patience to deal with the conflicts that are part of the duty of every father.
