Chapter 81. Disconcerting

I look at the happiness on Cecilia's face and realize the deep love she has for her family. It's as if every smile from her siblings and every tender glance from her mother reflects the sparkle in her own eyes. It's hard to understand why someone so attached to their family would choose to live in a boarding house when they belong in such a warm home like this. However, I conclude that there must be hidden reasons behind this decision, reasons that I still don't know and that, for now, don't matter anymore.

After a lively shopping trip and seeing the joy on Cecilia's siblings' faces as they received their gifts, we decided to have a snack at the food court before taking them back home. As I watch Cecilia and her family interact, a mix of emotions overwhelms me.

Upon parking in front of the modest residence, I notice Cecilia getting ready to leave the car, following her family's lead. I decide it's time to act. I step out of the vehicle and bid farewell to ever
