Chapter 21

Wedding Preparation

Immediately Viren ran to the nurse’s station and told them everything. They carried her to the OPD and the doctor on duty examined her. After what seemed like an eternity, the doctor came out.

“Well young men she is fine, and nothing seems to be broken. She is in trauma; I have given her medication and she will sleep through the night. You can wait in the waiting room. I will check her in the morning.”

Viren called his dad, told him everything and assured him that he is fine. He was a hell of tired, so he slept on the chair. He woke up with a bright light on his face. It took a few seconds to realize where he was. The doctor came to him, “My shift is over hence I thought of checking out on her before going. She is fine, her vitals are normal. I will ask the reception to prepare the discharge paper. You can meet her.”

With a jolt, he went to the room and was surprised to see the person.

“Priya?”

“Viren, you are my savior.”
