Chapter 17. Emergency Meeting
It's been three days since the day he talked nicely to me. He's now being himself, torturing me through a to-do list every day. But it doesn't have to be that simple. It's bringing me heavy headaches!
"Here's your schedule for today. Make sure to organize my meetings too," he plainly said after throwing a piece of cardboard with the lists of persons wanting to schedule an appointment with him.
"Is this all?" I asked, trying to make him feel like I'm a courageous woman who doesn't give up.
I know this is part of his plan to send me away from him, but I won't fall for it.
"Yes. Don't be too comfortable," he said while buttoning up his clothes.
Before he left, he looked at me plainly.
"Having some thoughts?" I asked, and he shook his head. He didn't bid me goodbye and I just saw him walking away from me.
