Becca's POV

As soon as we stepped through the door, an undeniable tension hung in the air, and I knew we had to address that kiss. It wasn't merely the kiss itself that weighed on my mind; it was the unsettling reality that others had witnessed it. Flashing cameras had captured the moment, leaving me to wonder where those pictures might surface.

"Zane," I began, my voice trembling with uncertainty, "that kiss… it was a lot to process. It’s made me question where we really stand. I always thought we were just friends, but after that moment, I’m not so sure anymore."

He stepped closer, his presence warm and comforting. Gently, he wrapped his arms around me, his hands cradling my face. He tilted it upward, locking our eyes together with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. His gaze was deep and searching, and I could feel the heat of his breath against my skin, an electric reminder of the connection we had just begun to explore.

"Becca
