Chapter 60

Brielle’s POV

The car stopped at his house. I was confused for a while, wondering what was going on. But before I had the chance to ask, I saw his mother come out of the house and stood in front. Both of us got out of the car and went ahead to greet her.

“You are both finally here. Not to worry. Everything is ready.”

I was lost, not knowing what she was talking about.

“Thank you mother. I knew I could count on you.”

“Oh, forgive me dear. In all my excitement I forgot to welcome you properly.”

Again, before I could say anything, she hugged me. Not surprised because it is what she does when she sees me. I hugged her back.

“It’s good to see you, mother. How have you been? “ I asked. Since Blake and I are serious, I started calling her mother. It was also because she insisted I address her as such, and I didn’t see a problem with that.

“I’m happy to see you too, dear. I am sure you are as excited as I am about your dinner date.”
