So much had been happening recently; there had been a young wolf who went missing. The Alpha, Rollins, was restless. I secretly admired the Alpha, though I would never tell him that, but I could see the passion he had for his pack members; it was an in-built love and affection.

Even after Cara's rejection, he didn't abandon his pack; he went the extra miles, and the missing wolf had just been found. But the young shewolf had been unable to say anything for two days; she only spoke to the Alpha.

They got some new information from her: the vampires were taking wolves and turning them into one of thenm.
