Cara's POV

There was a quick rap on our cell, then the door was opened and the figure walked in. I already knew it wasn't Vlad or Shade; none of them would have knocked before entering; why would they?

But I was surprised to see Sophie. At that moment I wanted to run and give her a hug and hold her, but she had her eyes fixed on something beside me. Teo.

"Laurent," she muttered, and then she came closer, noticing that it wasn't her Laurent, even if the two brothers had a striking resemblance, and I had once mixed them up when I saw Laurent for the first time.

"No, I am Teo, Laurent's elder brother," Teo said, but I could see it in his eyes. He was a bit upset that she had left his brother to suffer, stil he tried to be nice.
