Cara's POV

"Are sure you wouldn't want to rest first? It's a long story," he said, trying to reason with me, but I don't think I could actually go back to sleep; my curiosity was just too much, and what I had seen a day ago would never leave my mind. Wait, how long have I been out?

"I have all day, and besides, I believe I've rested enough. How long have I been here?" I asked

"What? Five days?"

"Yes, it was the worst five days of my life. The healers couldn't be sure when you would be waking up. I had to call the human doctor, and he too wasn't sure, but he assured me you were doing alright. It was actually due to the fact that you were already weak from the night we had in the woods. You sustained an injury to your head and some severe cuts on your body. The doctor said you healed... fast."
