Chapter 7. You’re Going to Regret
Layla’s POV
I stopped the car in front of a two-story building. I looked at it and let out a sigh of frustration. I picked up my bag from the shotgun seat and stepped out. I walked over, opened the back seat door, and pulled out my suitcases.
And then walked up to the building, It was a rundown place compared to my matrimonial home, but it was still an okay place to live.
It took a while for the divorce to be finalized. It’s been a few weeks, but I have finally been free from Orion. Although I was left with very little, which was a few possessions and little money, I was determined to start over and make sure Orion and Grace regret their lives.
I had rented an apartment in this building that I found to be friendly to the little money I had left.
This is the building I would be staying until I had made enough money to move to somewhere better. I navigated my way to my unit, which was on the second floor.
