Chapter 47

I got to the office after dropping Christian at his school, i was reaching for my office door, when my assistant, Jeremy, came forward and handed me an invitation card. 

"Ma'am, this came for you." He said and immediately walk back to his chair, I opened the door of my office and I drop my bag on the table.

And went straight to opening the invitation, and just like Jude had told me, the invite was from Chris, and tonight he'd be celebrating his younger daughters birthday, Alisa .

I opened my bag and have to phone Jude. 

"Hello Sophia.".  He says, immediately the call connected...

"Hey, I got an invitation from Chris" I told him..

"Nice!!!" He exclaimed ant there wasn't any form of surprise in his voice. .

"What; did you know about it?". I keep the invite on the table and grinned, while keeping him at the other corner of the call..

"Not really Sophia, but I am a police officer so I should know," he spoke to me on the phon
