Chapter 109

Rose was dressed in a very gorgeous but casual outfit as both she and Ray walked into a very expensive-looking diner to have lunch. She seemed to be glaring around as they walked to the table which had been reserved for them, Ray was quick to pull out a chair for her to take a seat before sitting opposite her.

They had picked what to order as they waited for their food but Ray was quick to notice how gloomy she looked.

“Hey, why do you look so sad Rose, you don't like the place?” he questioned.

“I do and this place looks perfect. I was honestly just thinking about something!” Rose replied.

“Huh, what were you thinking about? Common, tell me about it!” He exhorted, nicely.

“It's about, it's about my job!” she told him as the waiter brought them their order.

“Uhmm, what about your job? What job is that?” he questioned.

“Is it schoolwork or is it your job at the hospital?” he implored yet again while pouring her a glass of wine.

“Ray, there is s
