Chapter 124

The police officers had locked Travis up but Mitch had refused to leave the station. She stood outside the cell while she sobbed heavily.

“Father Travis, what would happen to you now? Will they ever release you from here?” she questioned while holding the cell bar tightly.

“Mitch, please don't cry, and by the way, where is Hendrix?” Travis asked, staring at absolutely nothing.

“He is trying very hard to beg the head of the police to let you go, he is talking to them on your behalf. He is doing everything that he can so that you can get out of here, you don’t even belong here!” Mitch uttered still in sobs.

“Mitch, you don’t have to worry about me. It’s late and I guess that you should go home already!” Travis told her.

“No, how can you even say that when you are here?” She said in between sobs and sniffs.

“It’s better you go home, your aunt might be looking for you already. Don’t worry about me because I would get out somehow, I would be fine now go!” He
