Ray was about to head towards the pathway when he bumped into his parents. The surprised expression on his face was visible because he was not expecting them to be there, he wondered who had invited them.

“Mother,” he said with a surprised voice as he hugged his mother quickly.

“Thank God you had seen us. We were already wondering if you were here!” His mother said while holding her glittering purse tightly.

“What are you both doing here?” he questioned more clearly because he still wasn't assuaged by their presence.

“Stephanie had invited us to come, where is she?” his father had finally spoken. The way his parents always found a way to bring her into any of their conversations lately annoyed him.

“Uhh, I honestly don't know but since you both are here, there's somebody special I want the both of you to meet. Just wait here and I will be back in a jippy!” Ray said with a lot brightened smile while his parents nodded in affirmation as they watched him walk bac
