Tessa had walked into her friend's master bedroom as they talked. “You did that? Are you out of your mind? How could you let your men hit you with a bullet?” Tessa yelled out loudly in shock and confusion.

“What's with you, would you please just lower your voice already? Someone might hear you and all the things I have done would be in vain,” she told her friend while she glared around.

“What were you thinking of when you allowed them to shoot you?” Tessa questioned more calmly this time.

“Do you think if I hadn't done that? The cops and Jessica would believe that I had nothing to do with this. If Jessica finds out, she might come for me while she brings the cops along!” Claudia explained to her friend.

“She wouldn't believe that I had nothing to do with her daughter's kidnapping. When the time comes when she would accuse me, making the cops believe her would be hard because my life was put in danger
