Chapter 45

Rose clutched her sister's hands as their little sobs filled the entire hospital hallway. 

"Rose, what will happen now that auntie is gone?" Raya asked as her hands seemed to be shaking. 

"Don't worry, I would be the one to take care of you and Sasha!" Rose tried to assure her. 

"How, Can't you see? We are still very young to care for ourselves and we need a grown up right now. It should be, mother! She should be around to take care of us." Raya said, amassing more tears.

"I truly feel scared. What if mother and father do not come back, Auntie is dead and we can't do anything for ourselves! What would happen to us?" Raya asked, still sobbing.

 "Stop thinking about such, I'm very sure they will come home soon because they would never want us to be alone!" Rose said, pulling her into a hug. 

"Are you sure?" Raya asked in between hugs

"Yes, I'm sure that mother did not abandon us, not even once did she leave us by ourselves!"
