Chapter 123. Jeanne and Fabian

The rest of the route went fairly calmly. I tried to glance at Michael who seemed so pensive. Was it because of Aden’s message ? What was he thinking ?

I don’t like how this simple message could have made Michaël like this, I don’t like to see him like that. He even left the macaroons that I bought him and just stared outside with his face in hand and his gaze distant.

I pursed my lips before sighing loudly. This caught his attention and he turned to look at me.

“A problem Emma ? »

I nodded and he almost pounced on me asking what’s up.

I quickly wrote giving him the paper.

“Is it because you find me too thoughtful ? Oh, it’s just…”

I wrote again and this time his face went cold and he did not respond directly.

He sighed before looking at me.

« This boy… Do you like him ? I mean could you see him as a boyfriend ? »

I don’t know why but Michaël’s sentence froze my blood, I was as if I had just been betrayed and it made me nau
