Chapter 209. The Wedding

Time passed and the wedding between Jeanne and Fabian was for the next day. I was so excited and I wasn't the only one anyway. Lenny was out of control going up and down. He was on all fronts, lending a hand and giving advice on the decor, the buffet, and even the music. 

 It made me laugh so much.

 Carla and I were practicing for our role as maid of honor and I could see that Jeanne was feeling a certain sad nostalgia on the eve of a special day.

 She missed Peggy, it would have been nice for her if her best friend was still alive and attending her wedding. But unfortunately, death snatched her far too young and brutally.

 Another fact that I can't understand is Mira's sudden change in behavior towards me and not only because she is also with Jeanne.
