I was getting ready for our engagement. My mom was getting very emotional and happy at the same time.

She was fussing over my dress and jewelry… I knew she was just too excited… But I caught her hands in mine and made her sit.

“Mom please, calm down. I will get ready in time… I have everything that I want please don’t worry...”

“Hmmm you will get to know when your kids will get married...” she said.

“Oh please, mom… I am not even married yet and you are talking about the marriage of my children… You are too much.”

“Ok… Get ready… the makeup expert will be here at any moment. I will go and see if everything is done or not.”
