Chapter 37
‘Your majesty,’ Olivia greeted, careful to keep her tone even. She had once received a beating for not sounding right.
‘Rise, my queen, join me for a stroll,’ he said and waited for her to comply. She dimple pulled something over her day dress and followed him. He would have been satisfied, but she was not showing any emotions. He reached his hand to touch her face, and she immediately shut her eyes with a slight flinch.
Her reflexes towards him were beginning to annoy him but he did deserve it. You could only hit a person for so long before they began to react in the way that she was currently reacting him. He chose not to comment, he after all had a goal here.
As they walked, she was cautiously walking a few steps behind him; it annoyed him, but out here was not the place for a lesson, and he would let her keep her dignity out here.
He turned and saw a bruise that was barely concealed under her eye. Was her lycan not healing her as quickly as she should? He
