Chapter 72

The scrying bowl suddenly went blank, and Zara sighed. She truly hoped that it would be more to them this time around. For years she and her coven haven been watching the scrying bowl but as much as they have made progress, that aspect was not revealed to them.

What happened next was still a mystery. Was the child eventually born? Did the child survive? Was it a twin pregnancy, as they were suspecting? Nature seemed to be protecting this script, and she could only draw the conclusion that a nature witch with a strong covenant with nature was involved.

‘That is how far we have been able to go. What you just saw took years of scrying to accomplish. We suspect that the pregnancy was a twin pregnancy, but that is all we have going on for us, suspicions. Plus, the midwife that helped birth the child or children has not been heard or seen since then. Witches live long, but we don’t live that long. So we are speculating that she might be dead,’ Zara said to Megan.
