Maya shivered. "What kind of monster are you?"

"Hey, sweetie, don't take it so personally. I'm just doing my job. It's what I get paid for," he said, seemingly unaffected by her fear.

Maya shook her head. "Please, don't touch me anymore!"

"Look," he said, "we'll do whatever we can to make you feel better. Okay?"

"No!" Maya yelled. "I don't care how much money you give me or how much food you feed me. I don't want anything from you. Just leave me alone!"

"I think you do," he said. "Deep inside, you want something from me. Maybe you're afraid to admit it. Maybe you want to pretend that you don't, but deep down, you know you do. You're a beautiful woman. You're irresistible. You probably want all kinds of things from me. But I'm not interested in that. Not right now. I want something else. Something different. I w
