Chapter 29. Sibling's Dark Past (2)

Reina's icy demeanor held the room captive, transfixed by her growing aura of intensity. Everyone couldn't help but be drawn to her. 

"Bi–big sis?" 

"Rei? I understand you're angry, but please, gather yourself... Your presence is frightening everyone here." 

"Kyle, get away from Amber this instant, and Amber, come sit next to me." 

Amber hesitated, hardly recognizing the person before her as her sister. 

"Amber!" 

"O-okay." 

"Good. Now, Kyle, can you explain exactly what happened?" 

Kyle nervously glanced at the women in the room until he was interrupted by a stranger's voice. 

"Kyle beat Amber mercilessly and raped her. All under the orders of Maximus Don." 

Shocked, everyone turned to face the stranger, her words hanging in the air. 

"And who might you be to accuse my brother of such a horrendous act?" 

"Oh, excuse me, my name is Donna, ma'am." <
