Chapter 58. The Takedown

"Be very careful and don't leave her side" Helen said for the umpteenth time and Axel had the urge to roll his eyes.

He glanced at Reina who sat unmoving as she kept staring at him.

Helen had called him early to inform him that assassins were spying and would soon attack Reina, but Axel wasn't that bothered about it, knowing that Reina would be able to take care of herself.

But Helen wouldn't want to hear that.

"You really have to stay with Reina, I can't have anything happening to her." Helen nagged again and Axel made faces that almost made Reina laugh out.

"But my wife can handle those little assassins, right babe?" He asked and raised a brow at Reina who chuckled and have a nod.

"That's a lie you little thing! Pass the phone to her!" Helen yelled from the other end and Axel unwillingly passed the phone to Reina.
