Chapter 62. Annoying

The incessant buzzing had pissed me off before I had even gotten out of bed. I picked up the phone and wasn't surprised that it was all calls from Helen and Lana. Tsk, they should leave me be! I only wanted to get some sleep on a normal day like normal people did. I turned towards Axel who was still sleeping beside me and Helen's words of yesterday flashed through my head.

“Are you both healthy?”

What the fuck has she meant by that?! Axel and I were both sexually healthy but it did make me think. Why the heck hadn't he ever made a move on me?

“Or does he think I'm ugly? Is that why he never...” 

“There is no way you're talking about yourself wifey.” I jerked and almost fell out of bed when I heard his voice. When did he wake up?
