Chapter 29. Cold-Blooded Murderer
After having a 'me' time in the restroom, I took the elevator to the basement parking lot. It was really quiet down there as most employees had departed for the day. The only sound that echoed throughout the huge parking area was the sound of my car keys jingling.
I was fiddling with the car racing guidelines that Dylan gave me earlier to memorize. I was too engrossed in the context to even realize a presence behind me before a hand went across my waist.
My eyes widened along with a gasp that escaped my lips. The keys and papers slipped out of my hand as someone pressed their palm over my mouth, restraining me. I struggled to get released from the unknown persons' grip as another one tied my hand. However, I lacked the strength to overpower those two men.
