"What is it that you want me to do?" I asked while taking a bite from my pizza slice.

"I am not telling you right now," Dylan replied, sipping his chocolate shake.

"Oh, c'mon, tell me." We were currently having lunch at a pizza place near my apartment.

"Forget it. I decided I would make you do something else. It's really dangerous for you." He started scrolling on his phone.

"No, no, no!" I almost yelled, grabbing everyone's attention in the restaurant.

"You sure do love unwanted attention," he commented.

"Then tell me what's the other job?" I asked calmly.

"You've to read a few files for me."

"I will pass on that one,” I deadpanned. "It's boring as fuck."

"Then you don't have to do anything for me."

"It is not your place to decide if I want to do it or not. Just tell me, and I will decide," I declared stubbornly.
