I blinked as Carl hurriedly left. After he answered the call, he swiftly exited without a word, leaving me looking at him as he left. 

I puffed my cheeks out and glanced at the papers in my hand. These were the reports he requested. I was about to explain, but he just left abruptly. I had no choice but to stand up and leave to return to my office and continue what I was doing earlier. 

I sighed. It's always like this. I'm finding it difficult. I don't know if everything is still going fine.
