Chapter 312
Olivia's POV
My alarm wasn't supposed to go off for another three hours, but I haven't been able to sleep since the sun came up. I lay in this huge four-poster bed, turning from right to left, on my back, on my side, and back on my stomach again. It didn't matter how many times I counted sheep, closed my eyes, and tried to go back to sleep. Nothing helped.
So, an hour and a half after sunrise, I decided to surrender to my fate and give up. Because let's be honest. No matter what I tried, I wouldn't be able to sleep anymore. Not with what was going on today. Not with what would await me today.
Just thinking about today made my stomach turn. I couldn't think of anything else for the last few days. No matter where I went and no matter who I talked to. I kept thinking about that one day, which at the time was so far in the future and seemed miles away. But today would be the day.
