Chapter 16
Ryeon saw his mother walking slowly around the room, holding tightly onto Cely's hands. The nurse smiled, as big as the Park, it was invigorating to see a patient coming out of such a bad state as Roseanne had been and walking again, recovering.
"You're doing great," the physiotherapist who accompanied them said next to Ryeon. "Are you feeling any pain?"
"A little, near the knee," Ryeon looked down and stared at the scar there.
"Alright, let's stop for today."
"No, I can take another round," the Park said, looking at his own feet, holding onto Cely even more firmly.
"Don't push yourself too hard, Mom."
"She can do it," Cely said, looking at him and smiling. Ryeon looked at the physiotherapist and saw him nod, allowing it.
His eyes went back to Rose and Cely. Both were smiling, and it was good to see his mother trying so hard.
