Chapter 25

It was a late Friday. Three weeks had passed since Ryeon had decided to move to Seoul.

On that day, he was dressed in his new black uniform, complete with a moss green apron. Ryeon smiled as he greeted a couple who had just entered the café and chose a table. His notepad was his constant companion, and a pen was always at the ready. Ryeon took their orders, suggested some additions, and bid them farewell with a sweet demeanor, always gracing his customers with his best smile.

"Your picture will be up there soon," Shin Yumi, a coworker and the most experienced staff member there, pointed to the board behind the counter, displaying the employee of the month.

"Little Ryeon still needs to smile a lot more for that, Yumi," Brian, the employee currently featured on the board, joked.

Ryeon looked at him, raising his left eyebrow as he tilted his head up to face the over-six-foot-tall boy.

"Are you challenging me, Kim?"
