The boy's expression was one of complete curiosity, as if that form of respect had never truly been imposed on him.
"Give me a capsule, I'll make coffee for you," she asked.
Yugjae quickly chose the plain coffee and carefully handed his mug to the girl as well.
"But..." he called out, right after Lucy refilled the machine with more water and turned it on again. "My father always told me that we, men, are stronger and therefore should reprimand a woman who wears something short or revealing because it's a way of flirting, and she wants to hear or go through what happens when she dresses that way on the street."
Lucy listened to that and took a deep breath. It was nauseating to know that there were real people with such archaic thoughts, with such repugnance and hostility.
