“You look like a soulless being walking around this massive and dark forest, Leila…” Her inner wolf, Silver, commented on her.
Her voice was serious – and yet, she could feel her concern.
Leila knew that behind her teasing, she was so worried about her.
After talking with Hunter, she decided to go back to the Triad base. And she couldn’t stop herself thinking of how Hunter looked like before she went.

“I have to go…” She uttered in a whisper – causing Hunter to look at her seriously.
She stared at him with pure resolve. For sure, Leila knew that he couldn’t do anything to stop her. But she saw a glimpse of pain reflecting his eyes. And it hurt her, too.
However, she had to go back.
She couldn’t stay at Tammy’s home – or else, she, too, could be in danger. She couldn’t go with Hunter, either. She didn’t know whether to believe him or not. Besides, she also thought of putting his life in danger.
