Chapter 103. Run

Leila was walking back and forth inside her room.

She harshly ran her fingers in her hair. Frustration and confusion were clouding her mind.

‘Duncan?’

Leila just couldn’t believe it.

Her tears blurred her vision. The pain of betrayal was visibly seen in her eyes – as tears started to fall from it.

She just couldn’t rest – even if she wanted to. She was full of questions – and she didn’t even know the answers. She didn’t know what was really happening.

Aside from the fact that she was bewildered because Duncan was here and the reason why he was here… and why did he betray her… She was becoming more and more worried about the fact that the strange man – whom they called Viego was the one guarding her closely.

She wanted to get out of the place already. She wanted to run away. In fact, she should not have gone back to that place. She should have stayed at Tammy’s place.
