“W-What?” Leila whispered under her breath – as she looked at Hector straight into the eyes.
Of course, he wouldn’t dare tell them a lie.
No one would joke around at this kind of sensitive topic.
And if he might dare doing it – all of them would surely give him a hit.
Hector let out a deep sigh before he spoke.
“After rescuing you and Hunter, we tried locating him. But all of a sudden, the Triad base suddenly exploded. It seemed like the explosives inside were lit and Donovan… He is one of those who were dead. We saw his dead body in his throne.” Hector explained seriously.
Leila didn’t know what to feel about the news.
She was torn of being happy and sad – all at the same time.
Of course, she couldn’t be happy for having someone she knew – dead. Even though that person is as bad as Donovan. She knew that there might be a reason for it. However, she couldn’t stop herself but feel a bit at ease now.
