Chapter 52. Aftermath

Leila moaned as she stretched her arms – but she took an abrupt stop when she felt a presence. She slowly opened her eyes – as she took a peek beside her.

But she couldn’t stop herself from shrieking – the moment she saw Hunter’s sleeping face beside her.

She absentmindedly kicked him out of her bed. Then, she covered herself with her own sheets. Her heart was pounding so hard inside her chest.

Leila swallowed the lump in her throat – as she heard Hunter groaned, causing her to feel a bit guilty because of what she did.

“What the hell!” Hunter skreiched – a bit annoyed because of falling to the floor.

She was just so shocked… and bewildered – as she stood up near her window, just near her bed.

‘What happened? Why is he here?’ She mentally thought – as she saw Hunter got up from the floor.

Leila swallowed hard once again.

“Y-You! What are y-you doing here?!” She exclaimed all of a sudden.

Hunter looked at her – like she had grown
