I’m just heading back to the packhouse after a good long run that I seriously needed. The Alpha is driving me crazy today plus Nate my wolf has been hounding me all morning to let him out to run for a while, when he’s bugging me like that it’s hard to concentrate on anything so now he’s happy which means I can get on with my work plus I do have to admit, I also feel a lot better now.

“I told you, you’d feel better after a good run, plus it was fun chasing those rabbits!” Nate chimes in my head.

“Yeah yeah you were right, now behave for the rest of today, will you? I’ve got work to do and I don’t want to deal with a pissed-off Jack today.”

I mentally roll my eyes at the thought of what’s to come while Nate moves to the back of my head, stretches out, and takes a nap, the lucky wolf. I wish I could do the same I am physically and mentally exhausted after the last few days of constant nagging off of Alpha Jack. I swear to the Moon Goddess we have ha
