I insisted Savannah join her family for lunch today. I want her to have some time with them before tonight. Hopefully, she’ll be able to relax, even if it’s just for a little while. I know she’s worried about tonight even if she won’t admit it. She agreed to go as long as Alex came by here as she didn’t want me left alone.

I love how much she cares for me. I never thought I’d have that again.

Alex arrives with chicken salad sandwiches, fruit bowls, celery dip pots with carrot sticks, chocolate brownies and bottles of water for both of us, and a pack of playing cards. My mouth is watering at the smell of all this food, this guy knows me too well.

Sadly, I won’t be able to eat as much of that delicious food as I’d like as my stomach can’t handle much food at the moment, because I was starved more than feed my stomach can only handle a small amount of food at a time, but Alex assured me that it won’t be forever and soon enough I’ll be able to eat wha
