We make it into town and I park my car in the car park of Mrs Piggy’s diner. It’s honestly the best diner around. We take a seat in a booth by the window and order two full-cooked breakfasts with coffee and orange juices then we start chatting about the ball that’s happening on Saturday night.

“Sav, I’m starting to get nervous about this ball. I don’t know if I should go after all.” Huh what? “Why, Ems, what’s wrong? You’ve been so excited.”

“I know but there’s going to be a lot of people there and I still get nervous around new people.”

“Yeah OK, I get that, but you’ll have me, Theo, and well, everyone else from our pack.”

“I know, Savannah and I really am great full, but I can’t expect you guys to babysit me all night.”
