I start waking up and instantly remember it’s the day of the ball. I can’t wait to spend the day with the girls getting ready and the night with them partying. It’s been too long since we’ve been to any kind of ball or party and I’m in serious need of blowing off steam.

“Good morning babe,” I turn to face an already awake Jay who’s currently playing on his phone.

“Good morning, Emma.” I go to cuddle him but he jumps out of bed and says he’s going for a shower while his head is still glued on his phone.
