Victoria’s POV

Upon reaching the carnival, the first things I noticed were the large Ferris wheel and the huge roller coaster, which made everyone scream in fear and excitement, eager to ride them.

“Let’s go, beautiful,” Alexander said, opening my door like a chivalrous gentleman. Huh? When did he even leave the car? “Looks like chivalry isn’t dead yet,” I laughed before exiting the car.

“Of course, my lady,” he replied, laughing along.

Closing the car door behind me, he placed his hand on my back, just above my waist, to lead me toward the entrance of the carnival. It sent pleasurable tingles running down my body.
