Before they started eating, Dianne blessed the food.
She said, “Thank you for these blessings, amen.”
Nervous and silent, Aaron waited for the perfect timing to talk about the truth. He was careful every minute as he didn’t want to add anything into the mess.
Fortunately, he felt comfortable when Dianna offered him a bowl of chicken salad. He quickly nodded and looked away from her solemn face.
He said, “Thank you!”
Dianna remained silent with a smile on her face. She didn’t show her real emotions as it might ruin the beautiful, vibrant moment.
Instead, she looked at Dianne and listened to her stories.
“Well, like what I’m saying earlier,” Dianne paused as she took one of the baked sweet potatoes. “We saw a beautiful woman at the park, and she looked like my sister! Is it possible?”
