Chapter 18. A New Girl
She remembered her late mother who wished and dreamed to stay in Angelique Hotel for a day with Dianne.
"Life is too short to be wasted," She murmured until someone knocked on the door.
Upon smelling the fried chicken, Dianna ran off back to the other room. She caressed her empty stomach, "I'm too hungry...,"
"Good day, Sir! Sorry to disturb you but here's your order." The delivery boy said, but Klaud was listening attentively to the speaker.
He wiggled his hand and let him enter inside. Klaud took a piece of paper, written something on it, and gave it to the hotel's delivery boy.
"Keep the change," he said shortly and put back the ballpen into the table.
The boy bowed his head and closed the door afterward. But before he leaves the room, he looked at the piece of paper and he realized that it was a check with 1000 dollars.
