Chapter 3. False Hope
A loud, disturbing noise sounded off around the hotel's hallway. She was banging, kicking off the door by the selfie stick.
"Open this door now before I could have the chance to caught you with your mistress!" The woman in her mid-twenties shouted out.
She was quite disturbing the guests of the hotel. The receptionist has tried to stop her, but she was too persistent and threatened to kick her off.
"Ma'am, please stop shouting. It is against the law, and you already disturbed our guests. Please, let's go and we can't help you with such matter."
But the woman hit her hand and pushed the door. Until someone opened it widely, "Oh my goodness! Why did you suddenly open the door?" She scowled at the woman who stood and looked at confused.
"So, you're telling me that it was my fault? Did I tell you to push the door on my behalf of me? Didn't I?" She raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms coldly.
"And for your information, I am not someone's mistress! Next time, don't push the door when there's someone who's going to open it. You just wasted your strength, pretty woman."
She then slammed the door and walked away from her. Without knowing that her wallet fell to the floor.
The girl clenched her fists and quickly took the wallet. She opened it and there are identification cards on it.
"Dianna Sy," she murmured and watched her walked into the elevator. "You will pay for what you did to me! You will regret it, and I won't stop until you fall into your knees in front of me!"
She crumpled Dianna's picture with a trace of hatred and jealousy in her aqua eyes.

One year later...
"Congratulations!"
"I am so proud of you, my dear sister! You are a fighter; a survivor and I love seeing you smiling genuinely!" Dianna's sweet voice echoed around the hospital room.
Upon hearing about her sister's fast recovery from a truck accident, Dianne was finally going home.
But Dianna never met her sister's doctor. She would always want to meet him, praise him for saving Dianne from the brisk of death but the nurses would always stop her.
"I love you, Dianna! I know you did everything just to get the money needed for my operation." Dianne was still in high school, and she must live. She has so much to do than dying of an accident.
Dianna embraced her sweet, adorable sister. She's always her baby sister and she is willing to do everything for the sake of Dianne.
"I can't bear to lose you, too. Our parents already died, and I don't want the same thing to happen to you, do you understand?"
Dianne shook her head and embraced her big sister tightly. She is blessed enough to have Dianna as her sister.
She couldn't wish for more than a woman who saved her life. "But where did you get the money? I heard from the nurses that the operation reached almost five million dollars,"
Dianne was still innocent, and she needs time to understand the situation.
"I... I...," she can't tell the truth to her. Dianna looked away and grabbed an apple from the side table. She took the knife and silently peeled it off.
"You won't understand, Dianne. But don't worry, when you reach the exact age, I will tell you the truth. Do you trust me?"
Dianne was confused with her answer, yet, she has to trust Dianna. She's still weak and the nurses told her to avoid stressful things.
"I trust you, Dianna. And I hope you are happy as I am right now." She replied.
A deafening silence filled the room. To shift the gloomy vibe, Dianna put aside the knife and bite the apple. She seated in front of Dianne and said, "Would you describe the doctor who treated you?"
She looked too serious and eager to know the doctor's name. Dianna planned to bake cookies and as a present, she will be going to give them to the doctor.
"You can't believe if I'll tell you," Dianne replied, smiling sweetly like she saw her long, lost crush. "He's too handsome, Dianna! And I think that is the reason why I'm alive now," she added that made her big sister laugh so bad and loud.
"Come on! Just tell me everything about him! I've been trying to meet your doctor, but he always left the hospital after visiting you in the ER."
She pouted like a girl who caught her crush talking to his crush. Dianna was wondering what he would look like, especially his name.
"Okay, okay! I'll tell you when you let me eat that chocolate behind you."
"Okay but tell me first about him. Deal?"
Dianna and Dianne talked like they have no problems. They are happy and grateful to have each other despite the missing piece in their heart.
Dianne took a heavy sigh and opened her mouth. She was about to utter a word when someone knocked on the door. "Come in," she said, tried to hold her laughter back.
A nurse entered inside carrying a small box that contained her medicines. "Before you leave, you have to bring this all with you. There's an instruction inside and you can read it before taking it."
Dianna bowed her head and replied, "Thank you so much for taking good care of my sister!"
"It's my pleasure, Ms. Sy, and if you need something, press that red button and we will respond immediately." The nurse saluted and closed the door upon giving the medicines to her.
She then gave Dianne a big smile and said, "Tell me about him, pretty please."
She begged and blinked her eyes repeatedly. Dianna acted foolishly when she's with her little sister. Her true, genuine personality showed up naturally.
And in exchange for a bar of chocolate, Dianne stopped giggling and described the handsome doctor who saved her life.
For almost a month in the hospital, she memorized every detail of him. "He's undeniably handsome, rich, and a well–known doctor around the world. And according to the nurses, he is also the owner of this hospital!"
"Wow! Are you telling me the truth, Dianne? And what about his physical appearance?!"
She was curious and wanted to know about that mysterious doctor, but Dianne was teasing her like she's physically fine.
"Give me the chocolate first, and I promise... I'll tell you his name."
She mischievously smiled at her big sister who was eager to know the doctor's name.
Out of desperation, Dianna rolled her eyes and get one of the chocolates. She then smiled at her and said, "If you're going to lie to me, I will never treat you again and I will tell Tyron that you secretly like him."
She nailed it! Dianne gulped and wiped the sweat from her forehead. Her big sister knows that she has a crush on Tyron since they were in grade two.
As an older sister, Dianna would always her and ended up laughing together. She couldn't be happier without Dianne in her life.
A long silence filled in the wide hospital room. Until Dianne smirked on her, "He's a jaw–dropping doctor...," she paused, looked at Dianna's eyes.
"And his name is... Doctor Klaud Anderson."
Dianna felt dumb and was speechless. She... she couldn't utter a single word nor look at her little sister's eyes.
What will happen if their paths cross again? Can Dianna accept and embrace the truth that there's no way of escaping from her new Master or it would be false hope for the both of them?
