Chapter 5. Deal or No Deal?

Dianne looked at the wall clock since the nurses left. She never thought of such an occurrence, but it was the reality.

"Tell me the truth, do you know Doc Anderson?"

She interrogated her older sister, but Dianna was looking nowhere. She couldn't believe that their paths crossed again in the wrong place and time.

"Hey, big sister! I am talking to you!" She stopped gnawing the chocolate and jumped off from bed. She was completely fine, and her right leg healed too soon and fast.

"Hey, what are you doing here? You should have to rest! We will go back home tomorrow morning," Dianna reminded her and looked at the screen in front of her.

She was looking at her phone for so long, yet she hasn't written anything. Dianna wanted to message her only, best friend but she couldn't even think.

"Please, I... I am confused now, and I wanted to call my best friend but that doctor is getting on my nerves!"

"He's making me insane and if only I can bring you back home today, I did it earlier ago, for pete's sake!"

She thought her life would be peaceful again after Dianne's fast recovery. Dianna planned to launch a new branch in a mall which will be opened soon.

But everything changed upon meeting the man who slept next to her. A man who bought her for fifteen million dollars.

She then remembered to check her balance through online banking and shivered while typing.

Fortunately, Dianne remained silent as she watched the woman who looked tired, exhausted from hospital bills. She heard that the operation cost five million dollars.

And the most frightening truth was that the driver who accidentally hit her escaped from his responsibilities. Even a single cent, the suspect never helped her.

At the back of her mind, Dianne wanted to ask and help Dianna. If only she can walk again like she used to, she can help in her small patisserie shop.

She knew that it was her sister's greatest dream. To be a well–known and successful patissier someday who will own thousands of branches internationally.

Dianne hoped that their parents were still alive. They don't have to suffer that much if they are with their side until they both succeed.

Until Dianna's phone rang loudly. Her eyes widened upon seeing an unknown number flashed into the screen. "And who would be calling me?" She narrowed her eyes and looked at Dianne.

"Answer it! It must be the owner of the mall!" Dianne convinced her to answer the phone call. "Hurry up! It's must be the big break that we are waiting for,"

She was smiling genuinely until Dianna pressed and answered it. She then put slowly the phone into her ear and said, "Hello, this Dianna Sy of Dia Sweet's Home! How can I help you?"

There was a wide smile on her lips until the caller remained silent. She narrowed her eyes when she heard a loud noise that came from the other network.

"Hello? Can you hear me?"

Dianna held her breath until...,

"Where are you? I've been waiting for you to come to my office, Miss Sy." A deep, mischievous voice echoed. "Don't make me wait for too long, you won't be happy if you see me mad at you."

Dianna threw her cellular phone to the wall and pulled her hair out of frustration.

"Uggg! I really hate him!" She screamed and slammed the door without telling Dianne who's the caller.

----

She was devastated by the caller who suddenly ended up the call. She wanted to curse him but it was no use at all.

She then grabbed her bag from the side table and looked at her reflection. "I looked like a mess now!"

"Where are you going?" spoke a little girl.

"I need to see you, doctor," Dianna replied shortly and combed her hair with her fingers.

Dianne smiled secretly and nodded her head. "Tell Doc Anderson that I owe my life to him. Can you do it for me, pretty please?"

Dianna was mesmerized by her sweet smile. She could never forgive herself for not granting her little sister's simple wish.

Despite the anger she felt, she shook her head back and forth. "Yes, I will do it for you." She then kissed her forehead and waved her hands.

"One more thing, please be kind to him. He is a generous man after all." Her eyes pleaded but the decision was not in her hands.

Silently, Dianna took a deep breath and walked towards the CEO's office. According to the nurses, it was located on the fifth floor which made her pissed off.

"That jerk!" Dianna cursed out.

"Ma'am, may I help you?" spoke a nurse behind her.

Suddenly, the door opened and she just ignored him.

Along the way to her buyer's office, her heart stopped beating. She felt the same sensation as they met each other for the first time.

She gulped and halted in front of the door painted with white paint. There was a CCTV camera around the hallway.

"Should I knock on the door? Or go back to Dianne's room?"

Dianna was hesitant to see the man who just called her a while ago. The sky seemed too dark, and she realized that she stood up for a couple of minutes now.

Until her phone rang so loud enough, "He–hello?"

"What are you doing? Push the goddamn door or I will grab your skinny arms!" The caller exclaimed angrily.

Dianna expected too much from the call. She thought it was the manager of the mall who would convey a piece of good news but she ended up annoyed and frustrated.

"How can I even pay you?!" She whispered as she slammed the door.

Dianna looked around until she met his gaze. He was seated on the back chair with a mischievous smile on his lips.

He stood and put the bullpen aside, "I'm glad you came! Why don't you take a sit first, Miss Sy?"

He was kind to her, but, she replied, "Stop playing with me!"

"I am not playing with you, Dianna. Do you think I am a player?"

The man with a white robe took a deep sighed. He turned his back on him and took it off.

He caressed his temple gently as he said, "You have to serve me, Dianna."

She remained silent, nervous, and confused. Dianna thought she was paid a month ago, "I gave you my all that night! And you told me you only want my body, for heaven's sake!"

Dianna Sy tried to forget everything she sacrificed for Dianne. Her body, her virginity, and her soul.

"You don't understand, Miss Sy." He told her calmly. "Be my slave and your service will be paid."

She lifted her head and looked intently into his eyes. She couldn't decide which one to take. Would she rather choose her growing business or a doctor's offer?

He suddenly stopped in front of her and kissed her. "Deal, or no deal?"
