Chapter 30. Confession to Henry
Sunny’s POV
“The sky looks beautiful tonight, isn’t it?” Henry asked me as he looked up at the sky. We were sitting on the swings at the playground near our house. The sun had finally set. That is why there were no kids playing around anymore. The only thing that could be heard was the sound of the whistling wind as it blew the trees.
“Yeah, it looks beautiful.” I said without looking at it.
Henry suddenly started moving his swing gently. “Do you know how beautiful your name is, Sunny? It’s like joy, happiness, and hope. I like it so much.”
“But you like the moon more, right?”
“Well, I like the sun too. It gives us hope and it’s as if it’s saying that there will be better days.” He said.
I heaved a sigh. For sure, he was just saying that because he wanted to make me feel better. As if I still didn't know that he never liked me anyway.
