Chapter 38. The Bullies

Sunny’s POV

“I wonder where Natalie is. She’s already twenty minutes late.” I whispered to Jared while we had our class. 

Natalie usually arrived the earliest among the three of us since she was the only one who found studying fun. But today was different because she was already late, and she didn’t even text or call me. “Maybe she’s not feeling well. And she wasn’t able to text or call you because she’s feeling really ill.”

“You have a point.” I said to Jared.

“Miss Peruvian! Stop talking with Mr. Knight if you don’t want to be the one to answer the problem on the board.” Our professor suddenly yelled while looking at me with her ever-big eyes that almost covered the whole space on her face. 

I smiled awkwardly. “Hehehe… I’m sorry, Miss….”
