Chapter 120. Did He Just Shout at Me?

Nina POV

“I said grab her!!” Ryder’s angry voice snapped again. The guards tried to step forward but I growled in warning at them.

They sensed my aura and stepped back.

Before I stared confusedly at Ryder. My eyes locked with Logan and he immediately looked away.

What’s happening?

“What is going on? What did I do?!” I yelled at all of them. And that’s when Queen Rebecca’s frosty gaze fell on me. “You fucking bastard,” she angrily stood up and tried to rushed over me but was held back.

“Leave me, let me kill this girl!!!” She screamed, more tears rolling down her face. But I remained confused.

I was about to speak up again when suddenly I felt something sharp coiled around my neck. It burned me... And before I knew it I screamed out, “Ahhh!!” I tried to remove it with my hands but it burned my fingers, causing me to instinctively pull my hands away.
