The second omega carefully cut the umbilical cord, her hands moving quickly and efficiently as she helped to free my son from my body.

“We did it!!” Ali whiskers, her voice full of joy as she smiles at me. I nodded, mirroring her smile... We had done it. We had brought a new life into this world, a life that would bring us joy and happiness in the days to come.
