Cassa's eyes swept across the room, but she did not see her husband's face in the restaurant. She knew that Alano would definitely be late to meet her there.

Cassa chose a seat in the corner of the restaurant, where she wouldn't easily be seen by others. It was her favorite spot when she was still Delbert's lover. The place held many memories for Cassa, and she didn't want to tarnish it because regardless, it was a place of nostalgia.

"Hello, where are you? I've arrived at the restaurant, can you come faster? I have urgent matters right now," Cassa said to urge Alano to come to the restaurant.

"Hello, can you hear me?" Cassa asked again, repeating her question because she was starting to get confused with the complete silence from Alano, except for the sound of his hurried breath
